Sentenced to prison for threats against Bent Høie – news Rogaland – Local news, TV and radio

It was in March 2021 that a man in his 40s from Stavanger called both the Trøndelag police district and the ministries’ joint switchboard and made threats against the then health minister Bent Høie. Now he has been sentenced in Sør-Rogaland district court to prison for 120 days for threats against the former health minister. According to the indictment, he is said to have made several death threats. Among other things, the man is said to have said: “Høie will be killed within 24 hours” and “He will be shot in the neck”. One of the threats can also be interpreted as criticism of the former health minister and the handling of the pandemic.
