June 16, 2022 at 14:38 Sentenced after fatal accident A woman has been sentenced by Haugaland and Sunnhordland District Court to 120 days in prison, and loses the right to drive a car for 3.5 years, after a fatal accident in Kvinnherad in 2021. 18-year-old Emma Weberg Kaldestad, who was a friend with the accused, lose their life in the accident. The convicted woman must also pay a total of 250,000 kroner in reparation to the victim’s parents. The verdict is in line with the prosecutor’s claim. Defendant for the accused, lawyer Per Ivar Hessen, says they have not taken a position on any appeal.
