27 September 2022 at 01:19 Satellite hits asteroid The Nasa satellite Dart has hit the asteroid Dimorphos as planned, reports Nasa. The aim of the planned collision is to find out if the asteroid’s orbit can be changed, so that the Earth can be protected from future collisions with asteroids headed for our planet. According to Nasa, they will now calculate how much they have possibly managed to change the asteroid’s orbit. It will probably be ready next week, according to Dr. Nancy Chabot in Nasa.
