10 January 2024 at 05:50 Ruter cancels almost 200 bus departures 190 of Ruter’s bus departures in Oslo are canceled on Wednesday morning, according to an overview from the company. – This is due to the lack of buses, as a result of the cold, says Ruter’s communications manager, Cathrine Myhren-Haugen. She says that most of the buses are out and running today, but that there are still challenges with charging the buses’ batteries. In the last week, there have been problems with the electric buses in Oslo. They quickly run out of power and need to be charged more often. – I hope today offers fewer canceled departures and delays than earlier this week, says Myhren-Haugen. Nevertheless, she asks travelers to be prepared to wait longer than usual for the bus today as well. She encourages you to keep an eye on the travel overview, in order to have up-to-date information. On Tuesday morning, around 200 bus departures in Oslo were also cancelled.
