According to several sources, both Russian and Ukrainian, there were two ballistic missiles that hit the area of a military training center in the Ukrainian city of Poltava just after 09:00 local time today. The rockets must be of the Iskander type. Prior to the actual attack, drones must have been observed over the area. This is a center for training Confederate soldiers, and many of those killed are said to have been outside in connection with a line-up when the attack came. A nearby hospital is also said to have been hit in today’s Russian attack against Ukraine. The authorities in Poltava are now asking people to donate blood to the hospitals in the city. The Ukrainian defense has previously been criticized for gathering too many soldiers in one place, including in connection with the distribution of medals and orders.
