3 April 2023 at 00:27 Wagner founders: Russian flag raised over Bakhmut The Russian flag has been raised over the Ukrainian town of Bakhmut, reports founder of the Russian Wagner group Yevgeny Prigozhin. He says that they have taken over the city’s town hall and thus have formal control over the administration in the city. Furthermore, he says that there are still Ukrainian soldiers in the western part of the city. – From a legal point of view, Bakhmut is conquered, he says in an audio recording on Telegram. The information has not been confirmed by independent sources. Prigozhin has also previously claimed that Russia has control over parts of Bakhmut.
