Stenson was among the stars who some time ago left the PGA tour in favor of the new tour which is financed with money from Saudi Arabia. That decision does not sit well with the head of the Swedish Olympic Committee, Peter Reinebo. He is Sweden’s answer to the top sports manager in Norway. – I was surprised by his choice. I didn’t think he would do it, says Reinebo to Swedish Radiosporten. – I think such a commitment is questionable. There are probably things I don’t know. But a commitment there does not correspond to my own values and it does not correspond to SOK’s value base either, he continues. Stenson himself has been aware that the large cash prizes on the LIV tour lured him over. (NTB)
