This is stated by NVE. Warm air at the weekend causes the snow to melt in the mountains, which will lead to increased water levels in some watercourses. But it’s still cool so it’s melting slowly. – Gradual melting of snow that extends over time is a situation we want, so it is favorable, says section manager Herve Colleuille in NVE. The water level will rise during the next week. The probability of a damaging flood is still higher than in a normal year, says Colleuille.
