Iselin Vistekleiven from Vågå has resigned from the board of Sparebank 1 in Lom og Skjåk, the bank wrote in a stock exchange announcement. The former mayor of Vågå sits on the county council for Labor in Innlandet. – With the background of the ongoing school case in Innlandet county municipality, linked to the future school and provision structure, as a county politician I have received feedback from the local population in the affected municipalities in Ottadalen that apply to my board position in Sparebank 1 Lom and Skjåk. After a thorough assessment, I see that it is no longer appropriate for me to continue in my board position at Sparebank 1 Lom og Skjåk”. On Facebook, several people have threatened to change banks, as a result of Vistekleiven sitting on the board, and have not rejected the proposal to put the secondary school in Lom.
