We have to dismantle a guardrail, among other things, as well as clear forest so that the car salvagers will have the opportunity to recover the vehicle on the road. E6 is closed – E6 will be closed because there will be large vehicles here which is absolutely necessary to recover that vehicle. In addition, the accident team from the Norwegian Road Administration is here. They will also take their examinations, and then we choose to close the road. Detour signs are in place both at Steinkjer and Grong, in addition to physical blocking at Vekset at Snåsa. – We encourage motorists to follow the detour. There are good detour possibilities, so it will not involve much extra use of time. The road traffic center reports that the road will be closed during the morning, but the time and for how long the road will be closed is currently unknown. – How long the road will be closed is completely impossible for me to answer. It depends on how well the recovery work goes, but I would say that the road will probably be closed for a long time, says Flasnes. Vegtrafikksentralen mid states that the estimated duration for the time being is set at four hours. A lorry is partially under water after driving off the E6 near Snåsa.
