17 September 2023 at 11:35 Rescue operation at Snøhetta The police in Innlandet report that they have launched a rescue operation at Snøhetta, following a report that a person has fallen between Vesttoppen and Midttoppen. The air ambulance and rescue helicopter are on their way, according to the police. The main rescue center informs VG that a person has fallen and slipped some distance down a cliff. Snøhetta (2286 m.) is the highest mountain peak in Norway outside Jotunheimen.
