Together with two other friends, he stands accused of aggravated rape at a party in Bergen on the evening in question. On the second day of the trial, he tells a completely different story to the offended woman. She was very affected when she explained what she described as gang rape on the first day of the trial. The 23-year-old is on trial with four other men from the same community, in what is a serious case involving multiple rapes. When the trial began this week, all five pleaded not guilty. Word for word Prosecutor Benedicte Hordnes highlighted a number of cases where the defendant had said something different in questioning than what he said in court today. In court, he described her as positive about it, and as an initiator. – I got the impression that she was joking about it, and talked about it as if it were an exciting topic for her. The atmosphere in the courtroom became tense when the prosecutor emphasized the differences in the explanations of the accused and the victim. – I think she is lying.
