Remained seated in court to watch the video that will show that she was raped – news Trøndelag – Local news, TV and radio

– It is terrible. You are exposed, undressed. That’s what the woman said in the witness box that Arne Bye had filmed a gynecological examination of her. She then chose to remain seated in the courtroom while the video showing her being raped by Bye was shown. There she sat face to face with Arne Bye, who was confessing to having raped the woman. – I get angry The woman is one of the three offended women who explained themselves in court on Thursday. Bye is accused of raping the three women by inserting objects into the women’s vaginas without there being any medical reason for it. He does not admit criminal guilt for any of these rapes. On Thursday, the court again got to see the video from the doctor’s office, which is supposed to show the rapes. The woman who remained seated in the hall to see the video evidence and hear Bye explain herself, says that she had no suspicion that she was being filmed. – When I see that video, I actually get very upset. I feel that he has failed and taken advantage of me. And then I get angry, said the woman before the evidence was shown to the court. The woman also told the court that she has several daughters who have had Bye as a doctor and who have been filmed at the doctor’s office. The daughters have had their cases put away, like many others, the woman said. Prosecutor Rikhard Haugen Lyng read from the review report the police had made of the video evidence before it was shown to the court. Photo: Bjarte M. Johannesen / news Used “cylindrical” object in the vagina – Sikta places a white basket between the woman’s legs. In the basket there is a camera filming, prosecutor Rikhard Haugen Lyng from the police read his review report of the video. The video the court was able to see showed a gynecological examination in which Arne Bye, among other things, allegedly inserted a “cylinder-shaped” object into the woman’s vagina. – The scope introduces a metal-like tube into the vagina, read Haugen Lyng. Bye has previously said that this was an inhaler for children. He does not admit that he has done anything criminal to the woman. When Bye explained himself, he said that he did not remember exactly the examination in which he is accused of raping the woman, but that he used the inhaler to get a better view of the cervix. – In this case, I was probably frustrated that I couldn’t see what I wanted to see. I can’t handle it any other way. The woman said that the part of the examination where Bye used the inhaler was painful. – It will be her portrayal. I have no particular comment on this, said Bye. The three offended women who told their stories on Thursday are all said to have been raped in the examination room at the doctor’s office. Photo: The police – No medical equipment On Wednesday, the medical experts gave an additional statement based on video from several of Bye’s investigations. Professor Mette Haase Moen read out the statement which pointed to several things in the investigations at Bye which the experts thought were objectionable. – Equipment is used that is not medical equipment or that is not appropriate for the examination, read Haase Moen. The experts have previously stated that it is not necessary to use alternative equipment during gynecological examinations. – If you are in a developing country, it can be defended, but in our part of the world you have to use adequate equipment, said Haase Moen when the experts gave their first statement.
