A man in his 50s who was working at the fast food restaurant was shot at, but not hit. He is physically unharmed. The police believe it was an attempted murder. The shooter ran from the scene and is still at large. The police are now asking the public for tips. – We encourage those who may have information about the incident, know who the perpetrator may be or have other information that may shed light on the matter to contact the police as soon as possible, says Anne Alræk Solem, head of the investigation section for homicide in the Oslo police district. The police are investigating whether the shooting is connected to other recent incidents in Oslo, but so far there is no indication of this. – However, it is early in the investigation and it is too early to say anything about the cause and motive for the act. This will be the focus of further investigation. We are investigating the case broadly and working on the basis of several different hypotheses, says Solem.
