10 December 2023 at 19:09 Received the people’s tribute from the balcony Several hundred had turned up to pay tribute to this year’s peace prize winner, Iranian Narges Mohammadi, in front of the Grand Hotel on Sunday. As is well known, the winner herself is prevented from coming to Norway because she is imprisoned in Iran. She is represented by her twin children, Ali and Kiana, and her husband Taghi Rahmani, who were hailed by those who had turned up to take part in the traditional torchlight procession. The police estimate that up to 1,500 people took part in Sunday’s commemoration in Oslo.
