With the exception of a few people, the employees at the businesses in Kristiansand and on Herøya will soon receive invitations to individual discussion meetings. – We have implemented several measures in the last 12 months to maintain the business. But we have reached the point where it is unfortunately not possible to envisage production of high-purity silicon in Norway breaking even. We regret that this is now affecting skilled REC employees, says managing director Jan Enno Bicker in REC.
