The MEP Raphaël Glucksmann ensures, in an interview with La Tribune on Sunday of March 16, that it will be “Totally involved” in the 2027 presidential election, calling for a gathering of the left, outside rebellious France (LFI), and “Forging a powerful project”.
“May 2027 will be such a fundamental election that I will obviously be completely involved. And ready to leave my skin there. (…) Comfort Democrats must become combat democrats ”he assures, in this interview put online on Saturday evening.
On the eve of the public square congress, the party he founded in 2018, Raphaël Glucksmann affirms the need for a “Cap Clair” and rejects all “National Alliance” with LFI and its leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon, with whom he says “Aux antipods”whether it is “On the current historical rocking, on European defense, the need to further support Ukraine, the Russian threat or the perception of authoritarian regimes in general”.
“Create a common platform” with the PS
In 2027, “We have to come together without LFI” And “Forging a powerful project”he says, saying his party “Ready to build a common political offer with the socialists who will then be open to humanists and environmentalists who want to go in combat with us”. The two parties were already allied for the Europeans of 2019 and 2024.
Without wanting to decide on the Congress of the Socialist Party, which will notably see Boris Vallaud confront Olivier Faure in June, Raphaël Glucksmann says hoping “That socialists agree with the strategic line [de Place publique] »» so that they can “Then create a common platform and go on campaign together”.
The party, which went, in a few months, from 1,500 paid members to 11,000, must have new statutes in Paris on Sunday and define its strategic line for the two years old, he specifies.
