Rammstein play for an audience of 60,000 at Bjerke race track – news Oslo og Viken – Local news, TV and radio

Sunday’s concert in Oslo could be the biggest paying audience in Norway ever. And with stage fireworks going off throughout the concert, it probably won’t go unnoticed. – The band is known for having a lot of flames and effects. The pyrotechnic show will last for the duration of the concert, from 8.30pm to 11pm, tweets Oslo 110-sentral, which has given permission. When the band played in Coventry in England at the end of June, those who did not have a ticket could also attend the concert. According to the music website Loudwire, the music could be heard over 1.5 miles away from the stage. This is what it looked like when Rammstein held a concert at the Ullevaal stadium in 2019. Closed roads Both Ruter and Vy warned ahead of the concert about the possibility of traffic challenges. The shuttle buses back to the center start half an hour before Rammstein goes off stage. But when 60,000 are going home at the same time after the concert, the police have some advice: – People have to be patient. And those who have the opportunity should take action. There will be very limited access up there for passenger cars, says operations manager Eirik Sannes. – To think that you can be picked up in the immediate vicinity is simply to forget. People should use the public transport solutions that have been set up or get on their feet. People flocked to the shuttle buses that had been set up for Bjerke. The reason was that many motorists stopped along the road to drop off people who were going to a concert. At 20.15 the road is reopened. The police have warned several closed roads in advance. Refstadveien to Refstadsvingen will be closed from 22:00 on Sunday until 02:00 on Monday. The exit and entry at national highway 4 and the Årvollkrysset will be closed between 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 05:00 a.m. Monday. – Well prepared There are about 30 horses left at the track. Some have moved the horses, while others have left them standing. From 13.00 to 15.00 Sunday, sound tests were carried out. Arena manager Arild Engebretsen assures on Sunday afternoon that the remaining horses in the area are doing well. – We are very well prepared, he says to news. – We have had meetings and discussions with the owners. The most important thing for us is that the horses feel safe and comfortable, says Engebretsen. Vets will be present during the concert, and the stables are blinded against laser lights and fireworks from the stage.
