The police must have photographed passports and other identity documents for those who were present. Some also explained that they must have had to undress. The clubs must have been notified in advance, so some of the guests left the clubs before the police arrived. On Thursday, the Supreme Court of Russia decided that “the international LGBT movement” is an extremist organisation. This means that all organized activities for queers will be banned. In 2013 queer “propaganda” towards children was banned in Russia. Last year, it was also forbidden to carry out positive information activities about queers towards adults.
