The debate around hospital structure continues to rage and create discord. Now the entire Vestvågøy Labor Party is resigning from the party in protest after the proposal to remove the emergency services at Gravdal came to light. – We have had a membership meeting where it has been decided that we will end our membership in the Labor Party. It is based on the fact that we are very dissatisfied, says manager Elisabeth Holdal to news. In total, the local team has one hundred members. More than 20 people are said to have already opted out. Unacceptable In a press release, they write that during a member meeting on Saturday there was unanimous agreement on the decision. – We believe that the management and the Minister of Health have dealt with the hospital structure case in a very untrustworthy and unacceptable way, says Holdal to news.
