The Kremlin confirms that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin met a few days after the June 24 uprising by the Wagner forces. The two are said to have met on 29 June, reports Reuters. The meeting should have lasted three hours, according to Kremlin spokesman Dimitriy Peskov. The short-lived Wagner uprising on 24 June ended with an agreement between Russia and the Wagner group negotiated by Belarus’ president Aleksander Lukashenko. Among the main points of the agreement was that Prigozhin had to move to Belarus. In the time since the uprising, there has been great tension as to where the Wagner boss has been staying. Last week it was reported that Prigozhin was in St. Petersburg, where the Wagner Group has its headquarters.
