28 September 2022 at 13:13 PST adjusts down the terrorist threat in Norway PST now changes the terrorist threat level from 4-HIGH to 3-MODERATE on PST’s terrorist threat scale, writes PST in a press release. The terror threat scale expresses the overall threat of all types of ideologically, politically and religiously motivated violence in 2022. PST’s threat assessment is based on the information PST possesses at all times, and will always be subject to a certain degree of uncertainty. The terrorist threat level is changing because the situation after the attack on 25 June has been further clarified and a number of measures have been implemented. Terrorist threat level 3-MODERATE means that one or more actors may have the ability or willingness to carry out terror in Norway.
