The French football league has ordered the major club Paris Saint-Germain to pay Kylian Mbappé the NOK 650 million he is owed. The money, a total of 55 million euros, originates from unpaid wages and bonuses to the striker. More specifically, it concerns a signing bonus that he expected to receive in February, as well as salary for the last three months at the club. Mbappé has demanded to be paid the nearly 650 million, while the PSG management believes the Real Madrid star agreed to waive the sum in question in August 2023. The two parties’ lawyers are said to have met recently after Mbappé, who went to Real this summer, had sent his case to the French league’s legal committee. The league then put forward a proposal that it could act as a mediation body. Now a ruling is ready.
