9 December 2023 at 07:43 Primary school in Sweden to become mobile-free The government and the Sweden Democrats agree that primary school will become mobile-free, reports SVT. This shall apply to all schools in Sweden from 1st to 9th grade. The ban must also apply during breaks. In practical terms, the mobile phones must be collected in the morning and delivered when the school day is over. The mobile phone ban must come into force as soon as possible. Principals must be able to agree to individual exceptions to the rule. In Norway, Minister of Knowledge Kari Nessa Nordtun has asked the Directorate of Education to draw up a recommendation for schools on the same.
