The man charged with violating §298 of the Criminal Code, which applies to sexually offensive behavior in public or without consent, during Arendal Week in August pleads guilty, the police write in a press release. – The accused told his version of the case, answered questions from the police and he has pleaded guilty to what he is accused of in connection with Arendalsuka, says police prosecutor Geir Magne Søfteland in the Agder police district. The interrogation lasted four hours, according to the police. The man, who holds a top position in a Norwegian business organisation, is said to have placed a hidden camera in the bathroom of the apartment he shared with a politician, two colleagues and a journalist. The police do not rule out that the charges may be changed, and say they are still early in the investigation.
