The accused man pleads guilty in court to having caused the accident on the E18 last year in which 15-year-old Antoni Tomaszewski from Stavern died, reports VG. The young people had been on a shopping trip in Sweden when the police wanted to stop them at Sarpsborg. Three different police patrols and a police helicopter were involved, but the police denied that it was a lengthy police chase. The special unit has investigated the police’s handling in the run-up to the accident. They have concluded that the police patrols did not commit misconduct, and have dismissed the case as no criminal offence.
