A helicopter, several boats and emergency services are on their way to Tomrefjord after a distress call from a boat, writes the newspaper. Nine people will be in the sea. Rescue managers in the main rescue center say to the newspaper that they know very little, but that a boat carrying people has run into difficulties. Operations manager at Møre og Romsdal police district Leif Arne Mork says that the police are on their way and that several emergency services are on the scene. – For now, we cannot say much other than that we can confirm that there are nine people in the sea and that a rescue operation is possible, says Mork. There are resources on site who are now taking care of people who are in the sea, the police said on Twitter. The main rescue center is responsible for the action.
