29 June 2023 at 02:35 A person died in a crushing accident in Alver A person died after being crushed between a car and a trailer in the municipality of Alver in Vestland on Wednesday evening. The accident happened in a private area with witnesses present. The emergency services were notified of the accident at 10.23 p.m. Life-saving first aid was attempted without success, and the person was pronounced dead on the way to hospital, says operations manager Tore-Andre Brakstad in the West police district to NTB. The case is further investigated by the Nordhordland police station district. The next of kin have been notified.
