The police in Møre and Romsdal reported the incident just before 12.00. Per Åge Ferstad, head of operations in Møre and Romsdal police district, says they were notified of the accident by a person who was diving outside Kristiansund. He was part of a group. – The message was that one of the people in the diving group was unconscious. He was found lifeless on the surface, says Ferstad. Start CPR The others in the group then got the person into the boat and immediately started CPR, says Ferstad. They then drove in the direction of Kristiansund, where they landed the person. – Paramedics took over the life-saving work there, Ferstad told news at 12.00. Both the ambulance and the air ambulance were ready at the scene when the divers came ashore. Those involved are foreign citizens. It is so far unclear what caused the accident.
