The main rescue center in Southern Norway notified of the incident on Friday afternoon at 18.30. By then all the passengers had already been transferred to the ship Olava which had arrived at the scene. – All emergency services as well as the rescue boat Horn Stayer participate in the incident, writes HRS, which coordinates the rescue work. Siv Namorks in HRS informs VG that there are 44 passengers who have been transferred to the other boat. The rescue company reports that with the Horn Stayer they have assisted with the evacuation of passengers to nearby vessels as well as transporting smoke divers out to the vessel.
