On Wednesday morning, the public transport company Ruter’s ticket system is down, and travelers receive an error message when trying to buy a ticket. It is also not possible to show a valid monthly ticket or apply for travel proposals. Ruter, which handles public transport in Oslo and Akershus, is working to solve the problem. – We are working to get the app up and running again as soon as possible, says Knut Martin Løken, spokesperson for Ruter. Travelers will encounter this error message on Wednesday morning. Routes currently account for more than half of the country’s public transport. In 2023, 386 million boardings were registered in Oslo and Akershus. The map shows the affected area.
