I live in Eastern Norway and we’re having a hell of a time, so it’s good to come north and have a good time, says Mathias Johnsen. – Getting warmer In Bodø, the temperature is 18 degrees on Friday evening, says Borander. – It just gets hotter and hotter. The temperatures will gradually go north and it will be over 20 degrees in the whole of Nordland, says Borander. There won’t be much wind either. – You can only hope for a nice breeze, so you can bear to sit in the sun. Sun and temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees are expected in Trøndelag and Nordland. Photo: Meteorological Institute Temperatures will rise over the weekend. Trøndelag gets the highest temperatures with 25 to 27 degrees. And in Nordland, Helgeland will have a high summer day where the maximum temperature is 25 degrees. On Sunday, however, it is Salten that gets the highest temperatures. – It only gets better and better for those furthest north in terms of temperature. In the south, it tends to be gray and wet. A gray and wet weekend. “Betty” arrives in Norway Varsom.no has sent out a yellow warning for landslides and floods for western parts of Viken and Innlandet, which applies from Saturday evening to Sunday afternoon, writes NTB. And if you’re going to the Findings festival in Oslo, the weather may be a bit warmer. – It only gets better and better for the furthest north in terms of temperature, says on-duty meteorologist Pernille Borander. Photo: Ole Kaland / Ole Kaland, news – It depends a little on how long you will be at the party. The most intense rainfall will occur during the night to Sunday. But today it will be very good. – In Oslo you should probably be prepared to bring something against the rain. A small rain poncho in your bag is probably very good to have. A low pressure on its way from the UK means that it could be a wet weekend in southern Norway. The BBC writes that there has been strong wind and a lot of rain in large parts of England on Friday morning. And soon “Betty” will come to Norway. – It is uncertain how strong it will be, but those that get the wettest are likely to be Agder, Vestfold and Telemark. – So far, the probability of the weather being at danger level is so low that we haven’t sent anything out yet, but it will definitely be a wet weekend. Low pressure arrives Summer weather in the north does not last forever. But fortunately, it is only after this weekend’s festival that Nordland will notice anything about the low pressure. – After the weekend, the high pressure will give way to a low pressure with some rain, so there is no stable persistent high pressure.
