30 May 2023 at 09:19 Parish priest pleads guilty to four out of five abuses A parish priest from the Borg diocese accused of abuse pleads guilty to abuse against four of the five children he is accused of abusing. It became clear during the first day of the main hearing in Søndre Østfold District Court. He admits, among other things, to rape of a child under 14 years of age. The parish priest is accused of online abuse against five children aged 11 to 17. All the assaults are said to have taken place over the internet. The police believe the five assaults took place last summer. The defendant was deprived of the right to be a priest last autumn. Six days have been set aside for processing the case in Søndre Østfold District Court.
