That is what the UN states, according to the news agency AFP. The UN Office of Human Rights has conducted an investigation into the murder. They believe all the information they have gathered is consistent with previous findings that it was Israeli forces that killed Akleh. Several on-site press people, witnesses, Palestinian authorities, Al Jazeera and several American media have already conducted their own investigations and come to the same conclusion. Israel has not ruled out that she was killed by an Israeli sniper. They also say that they can not conclude with this because the Palestinian authorities have refused to cooperate in the investigation and hand over the bullet she was hit by, writes NTB. Akleh worked for Al Jazeera and was killed when she reported from the West Bank in May.
