Several are associated with the Action Group for Palestine, and lie on the floor of the departure hall covered in white sheets. The group is demonstrating for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. – We cannot sit idly by and watch children being killed, Israel bombing hospitals and civilians in Gaza, says spokesperson for the group Rami Samander to news. Over 10,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the war broke out exactly one month ago. The Norwegian government was one of several countries that called for a ceasefire at the UN last week. Now the Action Group for Palestine wants Norwegian politicians to pressure the rest of the Nordic countries to demand a ceasefire between the parties. – We want to reach out to the hearts of passers-by and remind them that the atrocities will not end if we do not do more to stop them, says the group in a press release. There should be no delays in train traffic as a result of the demonstration.
