4 December 2023 at 14:52 UN: Over 80 percent of Gaza’s population on the run Almost 1.9 million Palestinians have been displaced in Gaza since the war started on 7 October. This makes up over 80 percent of the population. This is what the UN aid agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, writes in its latest report on the situation in Gaza. The report was published on Monday 4 December. As of 2 December, nearly 2.2 million internally displaced Palestinians were housed in UNRWA centers throughout Gaza. In addition, 15,899 Palestinians have been killed since the war began, according to the health authorities in Gaza.
