She is returning as a priest for the Church’s City Mission. 17 December this year will be Veiteberg’s last working day as bishop in Oslo. Veiteberg was appointed Oslo’s first female bishop in 2017. She became the first bishop in Oslo to be appointed by the Church Council, and not the King in the Council of State.
