The winners of the 98th edition of the Oscars will be announced on March 15 during a live broadcast from the gala, which can be viewed in Spain through Movistar +.
In Spain, the broadcast is expected to begin between 00:00 and 1:00 AM, transitioning from Sunday, March 15, to Monday, March 16. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, with appearances by renowned actors such as Javier Bardem and Demi Moore, this event will highlight the highest accolades in international cinema.
The 2026 Oscars will feature a total of 24 categories, marking the introduction of a new category—Best Casting Direction—for the first time in over 20 years.
