The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs describes the incident as a terrorist attack on Twitter. The ministry writes on Twitter that the police received a report that a vehicle drove into people on the seafront in Tel Aviv. There have also been reports of shooting. On Twitter, the Magen David Adom ambulance service writes that the person killed is a man in his 30s, and that they are evacuating four patients to a hospital in the big city. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and several Israeli media previously wrote that seven people were injured in the attack. Several media write that there are both Israeli citizens and foreign tourists among the injured. According to The Times of Israel and the Jerusalem Post, health authorities state that two separate incidents have occurred. First, two people are said to have been shot on the promenade in Tel Aviv, before a person tried to drive into pedestrians in the same area, writes the Jerusalem Post. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz writes that the attacker has also been shot.
