Earlier on Friday afternoon, large police forces responded to the Emporia shopping center after reports of a shooting. A man and a woman were taken to hospital. According to Sydsvenskan, the man died from the gunshot wounds. The newspaper writes that the man had a prominent role in a criminal network. In a press release, the police link the incident to a criminal environment. A person born in 2007 must be arrested. The police have moved to the Emporia shopping center in Malmö after reports of shots being fired. Expressen writes that several people locked themselves in shops at the shopping center when the perpetrator suddenly started shooting. The situation was described as chaotic.
