27 February 2023 at 11:59 One dead and several injured in new earthquake in Turkey Eastern Turkey was hit by a magnitude 5.2 earthquake on Monday morning. One person has been reported dead, while several others have been admitted to hospital. The earthquake had its epicenter in the town of Yesilyurt in Malataya province, the Turkish Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) said. The town’s mayor says that some buildings have collapsed.
