Økokrim has launched an investigation into former culture minister Anette Trettebergstuen (Ap). The investigation is in connection with the integrity cases that led to her departure. This is what the head of Økokrim, Pål Lønseth, tells news. In a statement to Hamar Arbeiderblad that they were sent the case by the Attorney General on 22 September last year. – There, Økokrim was asked to assess whether there are grounds for an investigation against former minister Trettebergstuen. The case was taken in for investigation by us in the autumn. Lønseth had no further comments. – Should of course answer Trettebergstuen says she takes “note” that Økokrim will review the case against her. – I will, of course, answer any questions they may have, she says, and continues: – I do not think I have done anything criminal, and I look forward to the matter being finally clarified, writes Trettebergstuen in a statement to news. Trettebergstuen stepped down as Minister of Culture last year. She gave office to her friends Bård Nylund and Renate Larsen and thus broke the competence regulations. She is now a representative of the Storting. – I have already put all my cards on the table and have never had the intention of appointing someone I am incompetent to face, says Trettebergstuen.
