Now hundreds will see the dead nun in the coffin in Missouri in the United States. Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster was exhumed in April because the congregation wanted to rebury its founder. They only expected to find bones because she was buried in a wooden coffin without being embalmed four years ago. But when they dug her up, they found an almost intact body in perfectly preserved religious garb. The discovery was not meant to be announced, but someone published the email publicly. The news then spread like wildfire. Volunteers and local police have been helping to deal with the crowds that have flocked to the tiny town of Gower with a total population of 1,800.
