On Sunday, the traditional club was relegated, after playing continuously at the top level of Norwegian women’s football since 1995. A 0-3 loss away to TIL 2020 in Tromsø was the nail in the coffin for the team with three league golds at the start of the 2000s. – Everything goes against them. There is snow on the track and Kolbotn’s road is not slippery. It’s sad to see, says news’s football expert Carl-Erik Torp. – It is absolutely incredible the fall that Kolbotn has experienced this year. I cannot understand what has happened. But that’s the system. Kolbotn had everything in their own hands, but then they managed to move down, says Torp. One point away from the championship playoffs In the regular season, they finished in fifth place and were only one point away from making it to the championship playoffs. Avaldsnes needs a win Toppserie team Avaldsnes is also postponed until the last round. The team, which is led by football profile John Arne Riise, lost 1-3 away to Arna-Bjørnar on Sunday. Now must win at home against Røa next Sunday to have a chance to stay, while TIL 2020 will not win away against Lyn. LSK Kvinner and Røa can still change the qualification place that TIL2020 currently holds, while Arna-Bjørnar, Lyn and Åsane are guaranteed play in the Toppserien next season.
