According to the Spanish police service Guardia Civil, he is suspected of having spread propaganda associated with the Islamic State (IS). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms to news that they are familiar with the case. – The Foreign Service is familiar with the case, and will offer consular assistance to the prisoner in accordance with established practice and the current framework for consular assistance. Due to the statutory duty of confidentiality, we have no further comments on the case. PST also informs news that they are aware of the arrest.
