Norway will be divided into three – here they have reason to rejoice – news Vestland

A high pressure that has settled over Scotland will affect the weather in Norway in the coming week. It will actually divide the country into three – Southern Norway, Central Norway and Northern Norway. The three parts of the country will each have their own weather, which will remain stable for a week. – The high pressure thrived very well where it is, and will not move on next week, says state meteorologist Charalampos Sarchosidis. It will be sunny in the south, cloudy in the middle and autumn weather in the north. According to the meteorologist, it will be just as nice in the east as in the west, but the fine weather has its price. – It will be a few minus degrees at night as there are clear skies, so you should be aware of a bit of night frost, says Sarchosidis. But everything is in place for a brilliant winter holiday week for the people of Bergen. – There will be a full week without precipitation south of Stad, says the meteorologist. The high pressure over Scotland ensures that great days await in Arendal. Photo: Jarle I. Kvam Haustvêr in northern Northern Norway has had a lot of weather so far in 2023. Next week there will be another round of wind, snow and rain. The high pressure in the south pushes the low pressure north. The precipitation will come as snow at the start of the week, before gradually becoming mild weather and rain in addition to strong winds. This can lead to a number of danger warnings. Already this weekend, there is a significant avalanche danger from Helgeland to Ofoten. Next Monday, a danger warning for snow pike has been sent out. Nothing to cheer about in central Norway The people of Trønder do not have as much to complain about as the northerners next week, says the state meteorologist. – Unfortunately, there won’t be much sun, but in return it will be cloudy and some rain. What the regions have in common is that the temperature is fairly similar across the country with a few plus degrees. – There will be some yo-yo temperatures, which we are used to this winter, says Charalampos Sarchosidis. There are good chances for great winter photos in southern Norway, such as here in Jølster, in the coming week. Photo: Ole Kristian Svalheim / news
