10 October 2023 at 22:59 Norway tightens travel advice for Lebanon The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against travel that is not strictly necessary also to the city of Tyr and areas west of the main road Saida-Tyr-Naqoura. They write that in a press release on Tuesday evening. The travel advice for Lebanon is tightened as a result of the worsening security situation in southern parts of Lebanon towards the border with Israel. Large parts of Lebanon are already covered by travel advice. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues official travel advice when there is considered to be reason to discourage Norwegians from traveling to a specific country, area or region, or to leave the place.
