The country has weapons, but lacks ammunition. Norway is therefore donating bomber ammunition to Ukraine, to the value of approximately NOK 480 million. A grenade launcher is a mobile artillery weapon, with a range of 5 to 6 kilometers. – Ukraine has a great need for all kinds of ammunition, and has specifically requested what we are now sending, Gram tells news on Thursday morning. Norway has also recently donated hand grenades to the value of around NOK 50 million and sniper ammunition to the value of NOK 3 million. – There are great needs, and we are trying to stand up in a battle that is difficult for Ukraine, says the Minister of Defence. The support is part of a broad international effort to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
