9 July 2024 at 13:30 Norway and Nammo with billion-dollar contract for artillery shells Norway and the weapons manufacturer Nammo have entered into a new contract worth over one billion kroner, writes NTB. The contract involves a tenfold increase in the production of modern artillery shells, and will apply for at least 15 years. Nammo will also be able to double the production capacity for other types of artillery ammunition and rocket engines. The agreement was announced on Tuesday by Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram (Sp) and Nammo CEO Morten Brandtzæg in Washington DC
