North Korea has fired several rockets recently, including four ballistic missiles on Saturday. Last week, North Korea said the latest joint military exercises between South Korea and the United States were an “open provocation and a dangerous weapons exercise” and that their actions “deliberately increase the already tense situation” in the area. They warn that they will respond to the joint exercises of the US and South Korea with “sustained, resolute and overwhelming” military action, state KCNA reports.
